What Makes You A Good Candidate For Orthodontic Work?

To determine if you would benefit from orthodontics, you’ll need to come in for a full consultation. Dr. Buccellato can help create a treatment plan that is specific to your needs as well as work on a budget you can afford. Orthodontic treatments are ideal for patients of all ages, so it’s never too late to begin treatment! Because there are many treatment options available, you can choose the one that best fits your needs.

What Can You Expect From Orthodontics?

The first step to beginning orthodontic treatments is to come in for a consultation at the Alpine Dentistry office. The consult with Dr. Buccellato involves an exam, x-rays, impressions, scans, and a conversation about which option is right for you. The impressions and scans are used to determine what type of treatment is necessary to correct malocclusion problems. You will need to come into the office at least once a month to have your braces adjusted, whether you’ve gone with metal races or clear aligners. Orthodontic treatment can take anywhere from six months to three years to complete. You will need to wear a retainer after treatment to maintain your results.
